Wipe EXIF, convert HEIC, compress locally
A native Windows 10 and Windows 11 app for hidden photo data. Inspect GPS first, then write clean copies. Clean portable EXE — no installer, no ads, no telemetry.
3.9 MB · Windows 10 (1809+) and Windows 11 · 64-bit portable EXE · no installer · SHA-256 · checksum and SmartScreen notes
Why it is safe to run
Named OS support, a portable build, no ads, and a published checksum — the checks people look for before running a new file.
Windows 10 and Windows 11
64-bit. Tested as a normal desktop window, not a Store wrapper.
Clean portable EXE
Green software: one file, no installer, no leftover service, no Start-menu junk.
No ads, no telemetry
No adware, no bundled extras. Photos are not uploaded. The app does not phone home.
No admin rights
Runs in your user account. Writes settings only under LocalAppData.
SHA-256 published
Verify the file you downloaded before you run it.
Clean software
Built so you can trust an EXE
People will not run a Windows download they cannot see or explain. PixWipe is a native Win32 program — not a web wrapper, not an installer pack, not a toolbar bundle. Delete the file and it is gone.

- SHA-256 published next to the download so you can verify the file
How it works
1
Drop
Drag photos or a whole folder onto the window. Thumbnails appear. Nothing is uploaded.
2
Inspect
Click a row. See the picture, GPS, camera, and file size before anything is written.
3
Wipe
Run the batch. Clean copies are saved beside the originals with a -wiped suffix.
Inspect first
See the photo, GPS coordinates, camera body, and capture time before anything is written.
Lossless wipe
JPEG, PNG, and WebP are cleaned at the byte/chunk level. Pixels are not re-encoded.
Never overwrite
Exports use a -wiped or -min suffix. Open the original or the saved file in one click.
See the savings
After compress or convert, the list shows how much smaller the new file is.
System requirements
Plain OS line, the way Caesium and ExifToolGUI write it — so nobody has to guess.

Windows SmartScreen
New unsigned software often shows “Windows protected your PC.” That is reputation, not a virus finding. Choose More info → Run anyway. Compare the SHA-256 if you want a second check. A code-signing certificate removes the prompt; we can add one after the first release.
